Fire Safety measures in PM Shri KV 4 Jaipur

All government departments observed Fire Safety Week as per the instructions given by the government. In our school, the Army organized different activities related to fire safety, especially a mock drill for a sudden fire on 14.07.2024.

In the beginning, the Principal gave a brief introduction of the guest. Then, Army officers and staff provided an informative demonstration on different types of extinguishers. They also explained to students about all types of fire (solid, liquid, and gas), their causes, and control mechanisms. They concluded their demonstration with the quote, “Fire is a good servant but a bad master.”

After this demonstration, a fire safety mock drill was organized, which aimed at the evacuation of the school in case of a sudden fire. All students and teachers participated in the drill enthusiastically. We succeeded in evacuating our school within 5 to 7 minutes and promised the authority for faster evacuation in the next drill.
