Art and crafts include various activities related to making things with one’s hands. Art and crafts are generally a hobby. Both children and young adults enjoy art and crafts. In KVS, children learn skills such as woodworking, sewing, and making things using various types of materials.

In early education, art and crafts education is one of the best ways to develop a child’s imagination. The goal of any art education is to help the child feel connected to their surroundings and environment.Art and crafts teach us to grow and learn through the expression of our hands and minds. Through art and crafts, a child can express their thoughts and emotions and share their feelings. For example, if a child is upset, they can be taught through art education to express their emotions.

With art and crafts education, children are allowed to explore paint, glue, or any other materials that may be available to them. Through art and crafts, children can learn to identify and recognize different objects, shapes, sizes, and textures. They can be taught how to properly hold a pen or pencil; how to handle a paintbrush, how to cut, how to paste, and how to experiment with various materials.
